Me too, bubele. Last year, as you remember with that “Honeymooners” bizniz, I was “into” the season. I dunno, this year time is moving too quickly to even grasp what season it is. Go figure. [“Say it, George, say it!” . . . “Oh, alright, Merry Christmas!”]

-No, that would be Easter.

-This “spirit” of affected jolliness and festiveness as defined today is an artifact of the pop culture group-think of modern consumerism. Christ and the true spiritual meaning of Christmas are buried under an avalanche of Santa, gaudily festooned pine trees, the ghastly Frosty homunculus, and wretched Coca-Cola commercials.
If you don’t join the herd of sheep who partake of this commercial holiday nonsense, then take heart as you’re a better man than you realize.

– Choice is at once the one of the greatest of all God’s gifts to Man and his greatest crucible.The ability to choose to believe in and to love based only on faith is the truest form of love. A concept that transcends random matter and energy and could never originate in this universe on it’s own.
That God would love imperfect Man, who often turns his back on Him, that He would bring Christ into this world is God’s gift to us, His belief and faith in us, and that is what we should remember tomorrow and remind others of.
Merry Christmas to you too, humble narrator.
